Latin Music Tour beaches of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

To the rhythm of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Urban Music will be part of the ninth edition of the Latin Music Tour.

The event, organized by Quepe Tours, will be staged on the fabulous beaches of Punta Cana from the 24th to the 26th of September. Fernando Quezada, president of the tour operator, pointed out the magnitude that this event has reached.

Among the artists scheduled to perform are: Sexappeal, Omega, El Chaval de la Bachata, Vakero and from Colombia, Dj Alex Poxada.

What separates this edition from the previous ones is that this edition will take place completely on the beach, and is expected to attract over 5,000 spectators. The activity will again benefit the Association of Art Critics (Acroarte) as a way of continuing to support the institution, said Mr. Quezada.

Dario Fernandez, president of Acroarte , acknowledged the support of Quepe Tours, while Valentin Baez, an executive from Telesistema (Channel 11), sponsor of the Latin Music, said that music brings joy and Telesistema, being a channel of emotions, has to support this activity.

BREAKING NEWS: Punta Cana.- The Dominican Republic is a world class tourist destination for both foreign and local tourists and investors, especially the Bavaro - Punta Cana region. In order to promote and market the tourism trade of one of the most important tourist destinations of the country, The Second Edition of the Commercial Tourism Convention BAVARO - PUNTA CANA 2010 will take place from September 29th to October 3rd.

The convention is an excellent stage for the marketing of products and services for the commercial sector, hotels and the general public. This exhibition aims to create a professional environment for business contacts between suppliers and buyers, as well as promoting and positioning their brands in this important tourist destination.

Expected to be in attendance are representatives from hotel chains, airlines, tourist agencies, tourist associations, and real estate project developers, among others services.

President, Luis Felipe Aquino, said the event will include specialized areas in which industry professionals will be able to establish business and commercial contacts, promote public relations and image projections. There will also be a trade show.
