APEC University gives of certificates

To hotels’ technicians of Bávaro and Punta Cana

BREAKING NEWS: With an aim of improving quality of the hotel services, the APEC University trough its Faculty of Tourism and its Department of Continuous Education carried out a training operation of 73 employees of three hotels of Bávaro and Punta Cana.

This initiative is part of an agreement established between the academy and the Funds of Social Wellbeing of the Hotel Workers .

UNAPEC reiterates its commitment to develop training in human resources in the Dominican companies, in this precise case, concerning the tourist sector.

The ceremony took place in the Miguel Arnaud Gastronomical Living room with the participation of the directors of the Funds of Social Wellbeing of the Hotel and Gastronomical Workers, and of César Caracas, Director of Continuous Education. Luís Felipe Aquino, director of the Faculty of Tourism of UNAPEC declared: with UNAPEC, we are conscious that the training is one of the tools which will enable us to have human resources being able to adapt to the changes and which can help their companies to grow.

On his side, the Director of the Hotel Funds, Manuel Osiris Liriano explained that within the framework of this mission, the entity wished that its members and employees be trained in order to improve their living conditions and to contribute to the development of a better tourism.
