Important contribution of the Tourism Ministry in Punta Cana

Main destination of the country continues to grow

BREAKING NEWS: Punta Cana.- The president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism Projects in the East Zone, Ernesto Veloz, highlighted the contributions made by the Tourism Ministry in the destination of Punta Cana-Bávaro during the past year.

Mr. Veloz highlighted the efforts of the Tourism Ministry to asphalt streets and side-walks of Punta Cana-Bávaro zone and the continuous monitoring that assumes the Minister of Tourism Francisco Javier Garcia, for all projects being developed in the area.

We have always said that there are many elements that are important for the national economy, but we believe we should pay attention to any damage to the tourism sector, since it would directly affect the economy of the region and country has expressed the tourism entrepreneur.

It has been argued that the main destination of the country continues to grow, and that a sample of this is the fact that closing this year in the area will open about 1,200 additional rooms to the inventory that we have today.

The tour representative said that the economic crisis that hit last year all sectors of the economy and especially the tourism, revealed again the importance of this pole to the province of La Altagracia, so it has urged people to join efforts to continue working for the benefit and the best interests of the country.
